Limousin (French: Limousin, Occitan: Lemosin) is a historical region of southwestern Europe, politically in France and culturally in Occitania, located in the northwest of the Massif Central. It is also an administrative region of France whose capital is Limoges and which comprises the departments of Haute-Vienne, Creuse and Corrèze. It has 727 000 inhabitants in an area of 16 942 km².
The cultural region of Limousin is a little larger, as it includes also the western part of the department of Charente.
