- Scotch is whisky, bourbon is whiskey - Ro Thorpe 12:18, 9 January 2008 (CST)
- So is rye, Canadian (I'm pretty sure), and Japanese (Suntory, anyone?) Hayford Peirce 12:20, 9 January 2008 (CST)
- And Irish whiskey is... whiskey. The only way I can ever remember the difference is thinking that the 'e' stands for 'Éire'. Anton Sweeney 14:21, 9 January 2008 (CST)
- An easier way would be "Everything Except Scotch has an E." Mebbe. I'll see if I can remember that the next time I have a bottle in my hand....Hayford Peirce 14:33, 9 January 2008 (CST)
- Finished off a gorgeous bottle of Lagavulin 16-year-old at a Christmas party. All out now bar mediocre Jameson, until my next trip to continental Europe :-( Anton Sweeney 17:54, 9 January 2008 (CST)
