- Going to comment right here. The link works except the clickable area is the frame around the Ele, not the ele itself. You almost have it though. --Robert W King 14:22, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- They all work? I guess we need some content. I'm going to add some color can you recheck to see if the whole cell is now clickable? Thanks Chris Day 14:29, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- in the lower example both colored cells are clickable. --Robert W King 14:31, 10 April 2008 (CDT) The first one goes to hydrogen and the second goes to carbon or oxygen, i forget. --Robert W King 14:31, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- Interesting. The upper one is clickable for me too. The only difference is that the upper one has a template that needs to be expanded, the process of expanding the template must screw up the link for IE. Chris Day 14:38, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- Well now both work. Maybe it's a cache problem. --Robert W King 14:39, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- So on Scandium the hydrogen cell in the periodic table does not act as a link? I don't see why it would not work as it should be the same as this page? Chris Day 14:42, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- It works now, I don't know what the problem is. --Robert W King 14:43, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- How strange, I'm glad i don't program for a living. Chris Day 14:45, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- Now the selected Ele is too tall. (2x the height of the others) --Robert W King 15:01, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- And some others are also 2x as tall. --Robert W King 15:04, 10 April 2008 (CDT)

Which ones are too tall? The transition elements? If so it was due to edits similar to this one. The dummy content in the cell is not required in Safari as the box height and width are are already defined in the div style. Chris Day 15:29, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
- In the above examples, the top one that has the blue ele highlighted is too tall, and in the bottom example, the unhighlighted green ele is too tall. In IE you have to specify the dummy height, because it will override everything, even the parent container. --Robert W King 15:39, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
