Equations are not type set

Hi Greg: From the technical forum I see that equations are not being type set, and this has been an issue for many months. Can it be fixed? Examples can be found in Step response, for example:

Greg, I saw your post that you would be glad to help shut down the wiki. That is great. But, we might want both to end the project as it is, but keep the server where certain people can use it. I'd like to get involved with server admin and Sysops, and I am "qualified" but inexperienced with mediawiki, so I'll have a nasty learning curve.
