William Henry Harrison (February 9, 1773 – April 4, 1841) was a United States politician and the 9th President of the United States of America. Before becoming president, he was the first governor of Indiana Territory and then a senator representing Ohio. He was the first US president to die in office, and was succeeded by his vice-president, John Tyler.
