The 1967 Arab-Israeli War, often called the "Six Days War" resulted in a decisive Israeli victory. Starting with a pre-emptive attack against the Arab states preparing for battle, Israeli forces captured the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights.
