Revision as of 06:09, 8 September 2022
Orphan Black: Echoes is a spinoff of the successful television series Orphan Black that premiered in 2012.[1] The spinoff was announced in 2019, and will be broadcast on AMC in 2023. The original series was broadcast by BBC America.[2]
Although the new series will feature new characters with no overlap with the previous cast, John Fawcett, one of the creators of the original is a creator of the new series.[3] Anne Fishko will be in charge of the series' writing staff, and will be an executive producer.[2]
Kristin Ritter will lead the new cast, as well as being another producer.[1] Other actors include Amanda Fix, and Avan Jogia.[3]
The first season will have ten episodes, during which, according to the producer's synopsis, “It follows a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unravelling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal,”[4]
