If I recall correctly, the U.S. Geological Survey had, in recent times, a major center in Eugene. This *may* have been disrupted under Trump's presidency, when some agencies were forced to move remove centers back to Washington, D.C. And also, the USGS underwent severe funding cutbacks after around 2008, so I don't know how much is still there. Some information is here: https://www.usgs.gov/centers/oregon-water-science-center [[User:Pat Palmer|Pat Palmer]] ([[User talk:Pat Palmer|talk]]) 14:59, 15 December 2021 (UTC) |

USGS in Eugene?
If I recall correctly, the U.S. Geological Survey had, in recent times, a major center in Eugene. This *may* have been disrupted under Trump's presidency, when some agencies were forced to move remove centers back to Washington, D.C. And also, the USGS underwent severe funding cutbacks after around 2008, so I don't know how much is still there.
