Originally a subcamp of Buchenwald Concentration Camp, the Dora-Mittelbau Concentration Camp, also often called Nordhausen Concentration Camp after its location near Nordhausen, Germany, was a specialized slave labor camp. It became a full camp in 1944, with large underground facilities where slave labor worked on V-2 missiles and other war production.[1]
