:Theoretically so, but it is used by people who consider themselves to be non-programmers, and they call it 'notation' so I think we should stick with its most common name. This article needs an update; there is a lot of new software out there, and a lot more incompatibility issues, since there is no real standard. - Theoretically so, but it is used by people who consider themselves to be non-programmers, and they call it 'notation' so I think we should stick with its most common name. This article needs an update; there is a lot of new software out there, and a lot more incompatibility issues, since there is no real standard.
