The Indian film industry, popularly known as Bollywood, is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Bollywood makes the largest number of movies annually in the world. Bollywood movies are mostly in Hindi, along with other regional languages such as Tamil, Telegu and Bengali. The first Bollywood movie was a silent movie named Raja Harishchandra, released in 1913.
