Leymen is a commune in the Haut-Rhin departement of the Alsace region of France. It is located near the border with Switzerland. The population is about 1000 inhabitants.
Historical sigts:
- The castle Château du Landskron, that was founded in 1297, is located near the town.
- The church Saint-Léger
Leymen is connected to the Swiss city of Basel by the interurban tramway line (line 10, operated by Baselland Transport AG company).
