A digital library, electronic library or virtual library is a storage space where texts in digital format can be found. There are basically two types of digital library: those in image format, whose user-friendliness is lesser and text format, which is rarer over all.
Image Format
Project Gutenberg's Distributed Proofreaders uses and maintain a very comprehensive list of online image libraries. It can be found here.
Text Format
Text format libraries are fewer on the Internet. Here is where you can find text format books:
