Hi Domergue, I moved the discussion from my page to the Talk page of [[Catalan countries]]. I'll let you and Rheaux fight it out, hehe. If it's finally decided that it's Countries after all, I'll Move it back. Best, [[User:Hayford Peirce|Hayford Peirce]] 20:44, 5 May 2009 (UTC) |

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Matt Innis (Talk) 19:36, 14 November 2007 (CST)
Internationalisation
Hi! I’m just letting people who have expressed an interest in CZ International know that there is now a proposal on the table.
Please discuss its feasibility at: CZ:Proposals/Internationalisation sandbox in the Discussion area.
Feel free to help develop the proposal, as well.
We'll also need "drivers".
If you've got no idea what I'm talking about, please refer to: CZ:Proposals/New and CZ:Proposals

Editorship
Domergue, with your background I'm sure you'd qualify as an editor - and we need them in the Linguistics Workgroup! Of course, you can't approve anything you've substantially contributed to, so if you did want to be an editor, you would have to confine your contributions to Talk page comments for any articles you wanted to grant future approval. John Stephenson 15:34, 18 August 2008 (CDT)
- Thank you very much for your kind proposal. I will think about it.--Domergue Sumien 16:56, 19 August 2008 (CDT)
- OK. I would like to ask you for any guidance/advice/comments about the Romansh language article. If you were an editor and didn't contribute it to yourself, this could eventually become an approved article! John Stephenson 17:58, 27 August 2008 (CDT)
- I'll read it soon entirely. I'm afraid I can't get involved yet as an editor because I've got too much backlog.--Domergue Sumien 18:04, 27 August 2008 (CDT)
- Great - of course, as an editor you're not obligated to do anything at all. John Stephenson 18:09, 27 August 2008 (CDT)

Romance language articles
Hi Domergue, thanks for these Romance language articles. They look very good to me! --Larry Sanger 20:31, 27 August 2008 (CDT)
- Thank you Larry, I'm delighted to receive your encouragement.--Domergue Sumien 05:36, 28 August 2008 (CDT)
- And nice job on all the redirects. Chris Day 13:12, 10 October 2008 (CDT)
- Thank you :-)--Domergue Sumien 16:09, 10 October 2008 (CDT)
- No problem about Romansh - no time limit! By the way, I think you are over-modest about your contributions here. John Stephenson 04:02, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

South Korea
Thank you for editing South Korea! I added & deleted some, so could you take a look at the article? (Chunbum Park 17:48, 5 November 2008 (UTC))
- You're welcome! Thank you for your adds. The article is now more complete. I think that "Korea" is clearer and much more common than "Korean Peninsula". In the revised romanization of Korean, the hyphen seems unnecessary: Namhan and Daehan Minguk are simpler, lighter and more common than Nam-han and Dae-han Min-guk. The abbreviation ROK for Republic of Korea is often used and should remain in the introduction. --Domergue Sumien 15:21, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- I was afraid that someone would read daehan minguk as "dae ...ming" uk or "..ming guk" when it's really "min guk," but I guess you're right about how it looks messy. I made the changes that you suggested. You're right about Korea > Korean peninsula. What I like about Citizendium is that its articles are readable & concise. (Chunbum Park 15:55, 6 November 2008 (UTC))
- Thanks. I can see that you improve more and more the article. It's fine!--Domergue Sumien 21:35, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
