I hold a BA in History with a minor in English. Currently I am a History teacher for 7th through 12th grades at a private school. My most popular field of study is Texas History. I have been studying Texas history for over twenty-four years. While that is my favorite subject, I have also taught several years of Ancient Egyptian and US History; both are a close second as far as having a knowledge base.
A few of my hobbies include reading, photography, writing and landscape design. I also enjoy being a novice computer enthusiast and amateur web designer.
My favorite sports hobby is baseball; I can talk baseball all day long, almost as long as I can about History. I have spent several years coaching Jr. High and High School volleyball and baseball.
I also enjoy all genres of movies; Sci-fi being my favorite. I am a life long Star Trek fan. My favorite actor is James Cagney.
I am a huge fan of Elvis Presley as well as Superman.

You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
