The Caesar's Grunt or Caesar Grunt (Haemulon carbonarium) is a Caribbean fish in the family Haemulidae. It occurs in clear rocky or coral reefs and mangroves, often forming schools, and is pale grey above, with a darker grey belly. It has yellow stripes along its sides, and bronze-yellow stripes and spots on its head. Its fins and snout are brownish. It grows up to 36cm in length. It feeds nocturnally on crabs, gastropods, starfish, and annelid worms.
