Theresa May (née Brasier, born 1st October 1956) was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 13th July 2016 to 24th July 2019, and was leader of the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom from 11th July 2016 to 7th June 2019. She was previously Home Secretary (responsible for internal affairs) from 2010. Prior to this role, she held various positions in the government and Opposition from 1999. She has been the Member of Parliament for Maidenhead since 1997.
