There's partial overlap between this and the Pacific War Subgroup. Obviously, the opposing sides in the Russo-Japanese, Sino-Japanese, and World War II aren't part of this, but what about [[Japanese militarism]] and the leaders, factions and events that led to it? I would tend to think the [[Meiji Restoration]] belongs in both places, but, for example, the Edo Period and its figures are more in this group, as is bushido. Thoughts? [[User:Howard C. Handling overlap with Pacific War Subgroup
There's partial overlap between this and the Pacific War Subgroup. Obviously, the opposing sides in the Russo-Japanese, Sino-Japanese, and World War II aren't part of this, but what about Japanese militarism and the leaders, factions and events that led to it? I would tend to think the Meiji Restoration belongs in both places, but, for example, the Edo Period and its figures are more in this group, as is bushido. Thoughts? Howard C.
