Cluedo, known as Clue in the United States, is a well-known and popular board game. It was invented and first manufactured in the United Kingdom in the mid-20th Century, but is now owned and produced by Parker Brothers
The success of Clue led to franchises based on the Clue universe.
Object of the game

At intervals players guess the solution: It was Colonel Mustard, in the library, with the dagger! This catch phrase has entered the English language lexicon.
