::I didn't realize it was so short. And yes, I was confused about the links too. I'll straighten things out all over the place if I can. (When I, [and with [[David M. Alexander|Dave Alexander]] sometimes] was writing stories for Analog, I tried to keep short stories under 7,499 words, because they paid a higher word rate than Novelettes, which, in turn, we tried to keep under 17,499 words because the Novella rate was lower yet. novella or novel
Is it really under 40,000 words? I have an H.G. Welles anthology that Robert A. Heinlein gave me years ago and I suppose I could do a quick word approximation.... Hayford Peirce 17:19, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
