Reorganization?
I read through this page the other day, and since then, it occurred to me that this page might work better if it weren't a catalog of every Roman who wore the purple. This could have two sections: a thematic discussion of the Roman Empire and a discussion of the Empire in chunks of time, rather than by each emperor. (You could do it by time period alone, but in my experience, I think it is easier to keep track of what's going on in the military (e.g.) if you put all of that information together) I think we can still use the discussion of each emperor, but I think it would work better if what's now on the main page were moved to each emperor's subpage.
