Media on the Citizendium is categorized two ways:

Note that each of these are color coded:

Templates with green backgrounds are considered High-free—they allow both derivatives and commercial usages.
Templates with yellow backgrounds are considered Intermediate-free—they in some way restrict either or both derivatives and commercial usages.
Templates with red backgrounds are considered Non-free—they are generally copyrighted and used by permission and in some way restrict usages outside of the Citizendium.
