- The section Duleep_Singh#Another_identity is completely wrong. This Duleep Singh had nothing to do with cricket and it is highly unlikely that his father Maharaja Ranjit Singh had even heard about the game.
- The person after whom the trophy is named is Duleepsinhji, an Indian prince who represented England in cricket. The "like his father" is a reference to Kumar Sri Ranjitsinhji, uncle of Duleep and one of the greatest players of the game.
