I attended the University of Texas at Austin, where I received a B.S. in mathematics (with an emphasis on abstract math) and a B.A. in linguistics with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. I am currently a first-year Ph.D. student in linguistics at the University of Southern California. My interests include phonology, semantics, mathematical linguistics, and computational linguistics. In addition, I have a strong interest in both theoretical computer science (which is really just abstract math anyway) and programming.
