MV Limburg was a French merchant vessel that was attacked by suicide bombers in October 2002, in the Gulf of Aden off Yemen.[1][2][3]
One crew member Atanas Atanasov lost his life, twelve were injured.[4] 90,000 tonnes of oil were spilled.[5][6]
In 2003, the ship was repaired and sold to Tanker Pacific Management who renamed it the Maritime Jewel.[7]
