Joan Bonham (1926-2011) was an English singer and one of the principal lead vocalists of the Zimmers. The Zimmers are a 40-member British band originally created by BBC television for a 2007 feature documentary on the conditions and feelings of the elderly, as part of the Power to the People series.[1] In September 2008, the band released its first full-length album Lust for Life.[2]

Bonham was the mother of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, photographer Mick Bonham, and singer-songwriter Deborah Bonham. Joan was married to John Henry Bonham, Sr., who operated his father's construction company in Redditch, Worcestershire, J. H. Bonham & Son. To supplement the family income, Joan Bonham ran a newsagency business in Hunt End.
