Article Start
I'm providing the Biblical basis for the article, since I feel this isn't a subject addressed much or that well elsewhere on the web. There might be more to add as addressed outside the Bible, I'm just not familiar enough with such references to provide them, and am sure others can fill in anything I miss. - Where did the notion of an adversary of God originate? I thought the Hebrews borrowed it from Zoroastrianism, but was it the other way around? Independent invention? Both getting it from some third source? Sandy Harris 09:40, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
