| Saw your post on David Green's page, so I figured I'd point you to [[CZ:Editorial Council Resolution 0005]] which sets the guidelines for what type of English should be used. I noticed in the metadata for [[Spanish Civil War]] that no one has set the language. | Thats fine. It was an introductory paragraph before I got my hands on it, and I gave a very rough and brief rundown of the main events etc. on the rest. | Thanks for the much needed spelling and grammar corrections to the Spanish Civil War article i've been working on. I'm curious, however, as to why British English is been translated to American English; e.g, Favour to favor. Its not a big problem of course, but may be in the future as Citizendium grows. | Sorry, I'm not picking on you - you are one of the few who are writing on these historical topics. Think of it as collaboration, not persecution...(and don't forget I'm a newspaper editor by occupation). I miss things too. The best editing is done with about two passes, then turning it over to another editor. The hardest of all editing is done to your own work. My staff has to copyedit anything I write.
