Acronyms

Hi Cesar, Welcome! I noticed that you asked about using acronyms at Citizendium. The answer is to go ahead and spell them out. The purpose is to avoid developing a clique community that makes it difficult for others to become familiar with. This is especially important for our older users (like me) that aren't familiar with the lingo. Group_Blocking_Procedures#Some_Rules_of_Behavior_Enforced_by_Constables Here's the policy concerning that question.

You can reach my talk page by clicking on my (blue linked) name and that will bring you to my user page, then click on the word "Discussion" in the top right of the page in the gray area. You should be able to edit the Infanticide lead by clicking on the "edit" in the same gray area of the top right. If you can't see it, let me know, there might be something that I am not aware of... especially if you are using a different browser. D. Matt Innis 00:35, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Okay, as long as you have a message that says "Your e-mail address was authenticated on 'some date in 2009'" then you are confirmed (unless you changed your email address since your first use). You should be able to edit most anything (unless something else is wrong). Let me know. D. Matt Innis 00:43, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

I just did it again and got this CZ message:

Confirm e-mail address. Your e-mail address has now been confirmed.

P.S. It looks that I was trying to click on those letters with my screen showing big letters. I had to make letters look smaller so that they turn clickable (I like to watch the screen from a distance and this is why I enlarge the text). Well yes, but those signs ("é") are not used in English vowels. I am always afraid of writing my name in Spanish in the internet. Sometimes a wrong converter just messes my name with strange hierogliphics. Curiously, and just like in CZ, in the English wiki I use my real name "Cesar Tort", and only in the Spanish wiki I use "César Tort" in my user page. Thanks for the edit summary compliment about my photo. This island, however, is not as beautiful as that picture :) Cesar Tort 00:18, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
