The Women's Health Study is a randomized controlled trial whose purpose is "to evaluate the effects of vitamin E and low-dose aspirin in primary prevention of cardiovascular disease and cancer in apparently healthy women."[1] The trial is sponsored by the Unites States National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) under the National Institutes of Health/.
