Article content

I know this isn't really the optimal form for an encyclopaedia article - it's probably a little too detailed, for instance - but the thing is that there is no other source on him that I know of (in English, at least) that gives his life in a reasonably detailed and coherentway. So in some sense this is the definitive available bio of him. It was carefully assembled by reading all his books cover to cover, along with dribs and drabs from other places (especially about his death).

Done with this

Hi, all, this is about as good as I can make it. I know the text is identical to what's on Wikipedia - but I did as good a job as I could on it before I uploaded it there, and I don't see much to change/add.

Would some editor please look this over and either suggest changes that need to be made, or copyedit and nominate it for approval? Thanks. J. Noel Chiappa 11:11, 7 March 2008 (CST)
