Sorry, I'd like to fully participate, but find the instructions too complicated to follow. I get lost somewhere in the process every time I try. --Anthony.Sebastian 15:44, 10 February 2008 (CST) | Sorry, I'd like to fully participate, but find the instructions too complicated to follow. I just pruned down the amount of information we are displaying, primarily so there are less cells in the tables and a concomitant increase in cell size. Next I'm going to try and reduce the complexity and have it so workgroup user-plans can be autonomous from the personal user plans. I'll try and redesign the preloads too. Any anything else that springs to mind. Please let me know if I remove one of your favourite toys, we can also put it back together again. Maybe that's a good idea. Sometimes I do over-engineer things, and just displaying plans/goals together, omitting other less important information, is probably the best way. Might want to ask other people who have used the system what they think. --Larry Sanger 13:37, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
:Aleta is for it (see forum thread) and possibly her opinion is a better to consider since she did not use it as it was TMI and complicated. I'll wait for a bit more input before making further changes. Chris Day 13:49, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Looks quite promising and worth pursuing wholeheartedly! Supten Sarbadhikari 21:46, 17 January 2008 (CST) I agree! Dawn Wright 20:23, 17 January 2008 (PST)
It works very nice, and as advertised. Excellent instruction set Larry. David E. Volk 09:17, 18 January 2008 (CST)
I really like this system as it keeps one organised--and as David said above, the instructions were really easy to follow. Something to definitely keep pursuing in the future, I can envision a system like this especially supporting and organising future workgroup activities. p.s. it also keeps me a little bit more organised, which is always a good thing! Louise Valmoria 14:44, 18 January 2008 (CST)
Thanks for the positive feedback! Have a look at the features now...I think it's pretty well improved. Almost ready for "beta" release. I totally agree, Louise, that this can really help support and organize workgroup activity. That is exactly why I'm pursuing this so aggressively. We need something like this specifically to organize workgroup activity! --Larry Sanger 13:23, 19 January 2008 (CST)
Note the existence of Special:UserCredentials for confirmed accounts. This does not include older accounts, though. In the future, I'd like to make it able to be revised and expanded to include older users. Aaron Schulz 13:58, 20 January 2008 (CST)
Error in links
I have noticed that when clicking on the "Public notes" edit link I am taken to the edit page for "Notes to self". Similarly, for the "Notes to self" edit link I am taken to the edit page for "Motto" and "Past week's accomplishments" goes to "Top accomplishments since start". Some of the other links are OK. Is there an error in the template? Mark Jones 11:47, 21 January 2008 (CST)
Thanks for telling me...I'll fix it. --Larry Sanger 12:04, 21 January 2008 (CST)
userplan location
I noticed you changed mine with the comment "Proper location of userplan..." and removed the /Userplan. Step 3 says ... userplan-page = User:Larry Sanger/Userplan ... Which is correct? --Todd Coles 12:29, 23 January 2008 (CST)
The correct location is wherever you have placed userplan-all. I simply edited your line so that it points to where you put that template! :-) --Larry Sanger 13:14, 23 January 2008 (CST)
- I see. The instructions are a bit confusing there, or atleast to me. Step 2 has you create the page using "exactly what you use to log in" with no mention of the /userplan location, then Step 3 shows the example of where you placed yours, in a /userplan folder. So I think most people going through this process will create the page at simply Template:User:<yournamehere> and then still place /userplan as the location, based on the example. --Todd Coles 13:24, 23 January 2008 (CST)
It doesn't matter where you put the template, but yes, I see I need to remove all those references to /userplan... --Larry Sanger 13:40, 23 January 2008 (CST)
Step 7
I'm confused about where I am supposed to Add my exact name [1]. Do you mean here? --D. Matt Innis 19:24, 26 January 2008 (CST)
I need to update those instructions. Yes, it's on CZ:Group Status, under "the table." You're already on the page (I added you a few days ago :-) ). --Larry Sanger 07:44, 29 January 2008 (CST)
Too complicated to follow instructions
Sorry, I'd like to fully participate, but find the instructions too complicated to follow. I get lost somewhere in the process every time I try. --Anthony.Sebastian 15:44, 10 February 2008 (CST)
