Barry Lamar Bonds (born July 24, 1964), son of Bobby Bonds, is a well-known major league baseball player. He has played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the San Francisco Giants, and in 2007 became a free agent. Bonds broke Hank Aaron's record of 755 home runs on August 7, 2007. His career has been controversial because of allegations of steroid use.
