I'm not sure we need a seperate article for this.  The history section is very similar to that at Gay community, and this article has relatively little to say about the term "GLBT".  Unless there is a lot of information out there about the advent and usage of the phrase GLBT, I think it might be better to have a section describing the term in Gay community as opposed to a stand alone article.  --Todd Coles 09:23, 15 August 2007 (CDT)

Original author notes

I started yesterday a Gay marketing article, and intend to expand linked topics from there, with GLBT being my first of those.

It is worth noting too that I am also intending to return to each of the expanding articles to commence referencing various parts of the articles and adding in relevant links, but also look forward to seeing what others may collaboratively bring to this process as well.

This is the first 'Checklist' I have added, so it may be worth others assessing if that is done correctly above.

I am always most open to constructive feedback on suggestions for improvement, and contributions, for both articles I work on and to help my understanding of CZ policies and procedures. --Ian Johnson 06:43, 25 July 2007 (CDT)

GLBT/Related

GBLT--also a tasty sandwich!

(Larry, I have been using that joke for some years and believing I invented it. Either I talk too much - quite possible - and my thinking is now received wisdom, or, inspired (and amused) minds think alike. --Ian Johnson 04:38, 1 August 2007 (CDT))

Ian, I noticed that you're really filling out the area here. This means the cluster of topics is highly appropriate for, say, GLBT/Related. See CZ:Related. --Larry Sanger 03:37, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

Thanks Larry. I like the thinking. Will investigate and look at integrating that step (once I learn how it actually works). --Ian Johnson 04:23, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

Well, you can see some working examples e.g. at Biology/Related or New York City/Related. --Larry Sanger 05:09, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

merge with gay community?

I'm not sure we need a seperate article for this. The history section is very similar to that at Gay community, and this article has relatively little to say about the term "GLBT". Unless there is a lot of information out there about the advent and usage of the phrase GLBT, I think it might be better to have a section describing the term in Gay community as opposed to a stand alone article. --Todd Coles 09:23, 15 August 2007 (CDT)
