Turkey did not exist before 1923, There should be a separate article on the Ottoman Empire. Please sort out this article properly, or I will delete it. It is ok to write a short stub or a more extensive piece, but this article is inchoate. Also, you should not link to your own published work unless it is absolutely essential [for a short specific reference, for example].
