Great job on these boxes!  I did notice that I could not use the auto=yes or auto=long templates on approved articles because the talk is now in the /Draft/Archive_1 space rather than just /Archive_1 space.  I ended up using the hand version, but thought you would probably want to know that. --[[User:D. If all the archives of a talk page are numbered (<tt>/Archive 1</tt>, <tt>/Archive 2</tt> etc.), you can use the <tt>auto</tt> parameter to display links to them all automatically:
== "talk" page archive ==
{{archive box|auto=yes}}
<pre>{{archive box|auto=yes}}</pre>

The list will update itself when new archives are added. If there are also named archives, you can add links to these as well.
Look at the archives logo at [[CZ:Approval_Announcements]]. It's not a talk page, so should we have a new archive template/logo for mainspace archive? ([[User:Chunbum Park|Chunbum Park]] 15:09, 10 March 2009 (UTC))

If there are less than 20 archive pages, and you prefer a larger two-column output, set the <tt>auto</tt> parameter to "long", all other parameter values will trigger the above format, so if you want longer and more visible links, try:

The archive box template should also be placed on the archive pages to ensure it is easy to navigate between the different archives, current talk page and main article. The archive box to the right can be used to toggle between the four different archives and the Template talk:Archive box page.

Approved templates

Great job on these boxes! I did notice that I could not use the auto=yes or auto=long templates on approved articles because the talk is now in the /Draft/Archive_1 space rather than just /Archive_1 space. You can use it for approved or regular aticles, but you need to use "approved=yes" in the template in addition to the "auto=yes or long" for an approved article. See here for examples. Chris Day (Talk) 11:50, 25 March 2007 (CDT)

I could write it into the code, what do you think? My gut feeling is we should stick with one standard for the archives on all articles. In the long term it will lead to less confusion since their location will be predictable for all articles. Chris Day (Talk) 14:43, 25 March 2007 (CDT)

"talk" page archive

Look at the archives logo at CZ:Approval_Announcements. It's not a talk page, so should we have a new archive template/logo for mainspace archive? (Chunbum Park 15:09, 10 March 2009 (UTC))
