decreased prod, increased destr, ineffect prod, acute blood loss, redistr.  My prof calls these each "forest."  Then you go the the "tree" which is for example, aplastic anemia, then you go to the type "the leaves"... induced by drugs, ex. chloremphemical (sp?) Bleeding (without further explanation like internal(?)) is not considered excess destruction since you LDH and Bili would be normal... correct? -Tom Kelly (Talk) 19:14, 11 February 2007 (CST)
decreased production (hypoproliferation), increased destruction, ineffect production (like can't get out of marrow - important for differentiating from other types), acute blood loss, redistribution (like a big spleen - i feel this IS a cause of anemia and should be listed separately even though other anemias also have splenomegaly). We should redact and augment the Wikipedia article.  I have started doing this, but anemia's a big topic.  I think each heading should have a brief overview of each category, but that each category should have its own entry.User:Michael Benjamin (Talk) 11 February 2007

We should redact and augment the Wikipedia article. I have started doing this, but anemia's a big topic. I think each heading should have a brief overview of each category, but that each category should have its own entry.User:Michael Benjamin (Talk) 11 February 2007
