Hello - I finally joined after tendentious editing at Wikipedia got too much.  First question, how is that issue dealt with here?  Everyone at the 'other place' agrees that the problem is not so much the obvious trolls, but the ones who stick by the rules, just, but make life painful for other editors by repetitive questions, tendentious editing, filling up talk pages with nonsense, Wikilawyering the most obvious points.

Disruptive editors

Hello - I finally joined after tendentious editing at Wikipedia got too much. First question, how is that issue dealt with here? Everyone at the 'other place' agrees that the problem is not so much the obvious trolls, but the ones who stick by the rules, just, but make life painful for other editors by repetitive questions, tendentious editing, filling up talk pages with nonsense, Wikilawyering the most obvious points.

Is there anything like a 'moderator' function here? I.e. the power to terminate protracted threads or 'calling time' when the discussion is not fulfilling the purpose of getting the article written? Edward buckner 02:37, 13 February 2007 (CST)
