I would like to point to a general rule. The first sentence of an article should be ''more or less'' self-contained. So, when I read, "[The] Cochin Royal Family were rulers of Cochin or Kochi." Where the heck is (was) Cochin? And another rule: the first paragraph when it concerns persons (including families, etc.) is what they are ''most'' notable for. Since the topic itself tells us that these people were notable for being the rules of a place called Cochin, we also need to know something ''else'' right up front. --[[User:Larry Sanger|Larry Sanger]] 02:21, 30 November 2006 (CST) | I would like to point to a general rule.
