Please make sure to mark pages you edit with the :Category:CZ Live category, so they can be tracked.  This is in regards to Kings of Chaos.  Also, that article would really benefit from some third-party sources; media reports, game magazine reviews, etc. If you know of any, please do add them. Thanks for joining the project. JesseWeinstein 01:31, 16 November 2006 (CST)

:Found one on a quick google search: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A24007-2004Dec24.html - I'll add it to the page. JesseWeinstein 01:34, 16 November 2006 (CST)
Hi, I hope that you enjoy yourself here Stephen. I am one of the chemistry editors, it so happens to be my first day logged into the new wiki.

The reason I didn't mark it was because I didn't think the changes that I made agreed with the "do's and don'ts" on CZ:How to get started with the Citizendium pilot. "Don't make changes to a refreshable (non-live) article unless they're significant changes. Don't make an article "live" by making minor edits. Make minor edits only to articles that are already live. (The reason for this is that we want to help ourselves to the latest major edits that Wikipedia might have made to an article.)"
I have taken a quick look at a new on the articles on chemistry, and it seems that a lot of the formating from wikipedia has "died a horrible death" during the transfer from one wiki to another. Please could you tell me if a plan exists for getting the articles cleaned up in terms of appearence ?Mark Rust
I've only ever heard of that one article by the Washington Post, but I'll keep looking.

::That makes sense, but - the point of the advice was that we shouldn't make any minor edits to otherwise unchanged pages, not that we shouldn't mark some of the edits we do make. JesseWeinstein 16:38, 16 November 2006 (CST)

I hate to be getting on your case like this, but Malo (single) is, in it's present form, nothing even close an encyclopedia article. It doesn't address all the five W's - Who did this, What happened Where did it happen, When did it happen and Why do we care; it doesn't contain hardly any actual content at all - no details of how the single was recieved, what makes it better known than thousands or others, etc. If we should have an article on this, it needs to address all these questions.  Please do so, or mark the article to be removed.  Also, while policy isn't  close to settled on this, AFAIK, "fair use" images like album covers are not going to be used at Citizendium.  So you'll probably need to remove that image you uploaded of the album cover. In any case, it needs a statement of the source, copyright holder, etc.  Again, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but... JesseWeinstein 16:38, 16 November 2006 (CST)
Hey Mark, welcome to Citizendium. To my knowledge, there is no plan for cleaning the articles up. There isn't much on the forum about the articles, and the Workgroup page has some tasks, but nothing about cleaning them up. I guess if you find an article that needs work, then you can clean it up. Until somebody comes along and lays out a format or something for the articles, I believe we're on our own. Chemistry Workgroup

Hi, I hope that you enjoy yourself here Stephen. I am one of the chemistry editors, it so happens to be my first day logged into the new wiki.

Hey Mark, welcome to Citizendium. To my knowledge, there is no plan for cleaning the articles up. There isn't much on the 1 about the articles, and the 2 page has some tasks, but nothing about cleaning them up. I guess if you find an article that needs work, then you can clean it up. Until somebody comes along and lays out a format or something for the articles, I believe we're on our own. Stephen Repetski 13:13, 17 December 2006 (EST)
