There are quite a few articles for NASA missions here and on Wikipedia. I don't know why this particular mission was specifically targeted for deletion. If they are all copied directly from the NASA website and that is not something we want here on CZ, then we should consider deleting all of the related mission articles.--[[User:Matthew Varpness|Matthew Varpness]] 14:01, 15 November 2006 (CST)

:It was not targeted specifically -- it just came up. I think that we should indeed consider deleting them all or tagging them all as "information only" articles (as contrasted with encyclopaedic articles). [[User:Ori Redler|Ori Redler]] 10:17, 17 November 2006 (CST)
===Deletion===
After some consideration, I think it best to delete this article for now. It is not linked anywhere (orphan). It's not well written, well formatted or otherwise important as an example. It's not a particularly notable mission.
I only tagged it "Live" because I cleaned up the info box, but I've since decided to work on getting the presentation of such articles worked out using STS-1 as the test case and roll out other missions once the groundwork is done.
I'm nominating it for deletion with the intent of recreating it from scratch later.
Deletion

After some consideration, I think it best to delete this article for now. It is not linked anywhere (orphan). It's not well written, well formatted or otherwise important as an example. It's not a particularly notable mission.
I only tagged it "Live" because I cleaned up the info box, but I've since decided to work on getting the presentation of such articles worked out using STS-1 as the test case and roll out other missions once the groundwork is done.
I'm nominating it for deletion with the intent of recreating it from scratch later.
