In 2021 Goodwin was one of ten playwrights awarded a Steinberg Emerging Playwrights Award, that was accompanied by $10,000.[1]
He is the author of over 60 plays, including And In This Corner Cassius Clay, How We Got On, Hype Man: A Break Beat Play, This is Modern Art and Free Play: open source scripts for an antiracist tomorrow.[2]
