Paul was a contributor to the lively 1960s Folk Revival scene in New York City's Greenwich Village. He toured and recorded as a multi-instrumental backup musician with the nationally popular Mitchell Trio, and later toured extensively with the now-legendary group Peter, Paul & Mary. And as a technician with The Record Plant Remote, the Record Plant's studio-on-wheels mobile operation, Prestopino worked as a sound engineer for countless musicians.
