:Not really. He did play for England in 1992, his first season at Durham, but with no distinction and his international career ended then. He is mentioned at [[Somerset (cricket)|Somerset]] as his county during the time he enjoyed international success. I think that will suffice while these articles are under-developed. I know Botham has become chairman of the Durham club in recent years but, again, that is something to be picked up when the article is eventually expanded. Botham was a good player in the late seventies and early eighties but I don't think there is a need to mention him any more than necessary.
