Bath is a city in the ceremonial county of Somerset, United Kingdom. It has a population of 83,992. No motorways run through the city though the A4 and A36 run through it.
Etymology
The name of the city comes from the well preserved Roman baths in the city, which are dedicated to the Roman goddess of wisdom Minerva. The Roman baths are filled by the hot springs in the city, and it lies on the River Avon.
