Hi! My name is Andrea James.
I am a writer, director, producer, and activist based in Los Angeles.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in English and Latin/Classical Greek from Wabash College. I have an Master of Arts in English from the University of Chicago, where I specialized in 18th-century British diaries and satire.
After graduate school, I wrote ads for ten years at top Chicago ad agencies.
I am known for my work on behalf of transgender and transsexual people. I authored tsroadmap.com, a how-to guide for transgender people, and hairfacts.com, a general market guide to hair removal.
