I am aware of that, but you never know what another author did, unless you know all these names.  If Chyi is the surname, do we reverse the title, or has the Naming Conventions decided last, first for Asian names in article titles?

All mainstream sources state Chyi Yu graduated from National Taiwan University, but there are other non-reliable sources indicating she has a master's degree from UCLA, including the Chinese Wikipedia. Some blogs claim to be quoting newspaper articles/interviews about that she attended UCLA. How can I check if this is true? [[User:Yi Zhe Wu|Yi Zhe Wu]] 11:44, 24 February 2008 (CST)

I may have the surname backwards for the alphabetical listing on the metadata page. Could the original author check this field please? (abc = Chyi, Yu or is it abc = Yu, Chyi)

Her surname is Chyi, since Chinese people customarily put surname before given name. Yi Zhe Wu 11:20, 24 February 2008 (CST)

Yi Zhe Wu 11:44, 24 February 2008 (CST)

At many schools, the Office of the Registrar provides this information. UCLA, though, apparently belongs to the National Student Clearinghouse (www.studentclearinghouse.org), which will provide this information if you fill out a form and pay them USD 6.50.
