::Seems to me that the parenthetical information, which is useful, should be moved and incorporated into an article about alcohol. That could describe the ethanol or ethanolics, the differences between wines, beers and spirts, the effects of alcohol (inhibition-reducing, intoxicating) and so forth. Story
