|description  = The Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) at Seagirt Marine Terminal in the Port of Baltimore raises intermodalism to an art form. Only 100-feet from the bulkhead to the railhead insures that cargo arriving by ship speeds through the marine terminal to the rail yard, and on to the heartland of America. Seagirt is a terminal designed to move cargo as guickly as possible over the piers. Domesitc cargo is also processed through ICTF. Cargo leaving the ICTF in Baltimore can be in Chicago in 30 hours.
