The New York Times is a daily newspaper published in New York City, and widely available throughout the U.S.
The New York Times, founded in 1851, is regarded as a prestigious newspaper. It has the slogan: "All the news that's fit to print". It is known for first publication of notable stories, like that of the Pentagon Papers.
